Workly ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, used, shared, and protected when you use the Workly app.

By using our app, you agree to the data practices described in this policy.

We may collect or request access to the following information when you use our app:

• Personal Identification Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture (if you sign in with Google, this information is retrieved from your Google account).
• Usage Data: Your shift records, working hours, salary data, and other statistical data within the app.
• Device Permissions:
  • Microphone and Speech Recognition: Access to your microphone and speech recognition features is requested so you can give voice commands to the Workly AI assistant. Your voice data is used solely for communication with the assistant.
  • Photo Gallery: Access to your photo gallery is requested when you want to change your profile picture.
• Device and Usage Information: Anonymous device data such as app performance, error logs, device model, operating system version, and IP address (via Firebase and Google AdMob).

2. Use of Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To create and secure your user account.
• To provide our core services such as shift tracking, salary calculation, and offering statistics.
• To answer your questions and assist you via the Workly AI assistant.
• To manage your in-app purchases (via RevenueCat).
• To analyze app performance and fix bugs.
• To show you more relevant and personalized advertisements (via Google AdMob for free tier users).

3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

Workly does not sell your personal data to third parties. However, to ensure the app functions properly, data may be shared with the following trusted third-party service providers:

• Firebase (Google): For user authentication (Auth) and database (Firestore) operations.
• RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements within the app.
• Google Generative AI: Your queries are forwarded to enable AI assistant features.

4. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Data Deletion and User Rights

Users may request the deletion of their accounts and personal data at any time. You can permanently delete your account from the account settings menu within the app. When you delete your account, all your records in our database are permanently deleted.
